Agreed — interesting data. In our opinion, it’s not that SaaS is behind us — it’s just that the low hanging fruit are gone. We’re now going to see “SaaS 2.0” :)

Instead of SaaS being about just taking an existing process (or piece of software) and moving it to the cloud — we’re now going to see a wave of companies taking advantage of the new capabilities that SaaS also brings e.g., huge compute (for AI/ML), continuous integration at scale, true location based/mobile capabilities etc.
